Berklee NEVER. . .

I find myself saying this phrase a lot lately...Berklee NEVER.....cut her hair, Berklee NEVER.....did back flips off the couch, Berklee NEVER......scaled the walls, Berklee NEVER.....colored on anything but paper, Berklee NEVER....insisted on putting on her own shoes, buckling her own car seat, filling up her own milk, riding her bike down a huge hill by her self, Berklee NEVER....hid in the pantry and ate an entire container of sprinkles!! As I say this frase to Chris (almost daily), he looks at me with a smirk and says....when are you gonna realize Mason is a BOY!!!

Mason cut his hair, good thing he's a boy and he did need a hair cut so the damage was minimal but still, HE CUT HIS HAIR!! I was babysitting my nephew and went up stairs to lay Marlee down, I came back down and it was silent, I go in the playroom, where I left the boys...not there...I go in the living room...not there, I go in the kitchen, see a drawer open, then hear a little snicker from the dinning room, ahhh there they are under the table! Mason is cutting his hair as Jayden sits and watches, but this is what gets me, he knew it was naughty or he would not have gone under the table, so...WHY????

I'M SO GLAD WHEN DADDY GETS HOME!!!

We are so glad when our Daddy gets home!! Our kids look forward to this moment everyday when Daddy walks through the door! He is always greeted with lots of love!! He is so good with he kids, I am so grateful for him! He comes in and gets on the floor and starts playing with them right away, or will come in a grab Marlee from my arms and is so excited to see her!!! We love him!!

Hey Everybody It's Family Night!!!

Last night we had the greatest FHE!! The kids were all in good moods, the lesson went nice and easy, ( I think they might have even got something from it!) We played fruit basket turn over, which is a classic in Chris's family and we always have so much fun when we play with the whole fam. We have recently added a new element to FHE, which is "trick time" (inspired by the awesome johnston fam). We save it for 2nd to last because it is always so funny that we get way silly. Everybody gets to do a trick, anything they want...even Chris and I do a little something! It is so funny! Every week we laugh so hard! Last night this little hand thing was Chris's trick...what it is...I don't know...but Berklee and Mason could not figure out how to do it and it had us rolling on the ground laughing so hard watching them try!!! Berklee ended up getting it, Mase never did! These pictures are so funny! This is how retarted our family is! I LOVE IT!!!

Ok ya got me...

1.What was I doing 10 years ago?
Funny you should ask...I was a Sophmore in High School, Cheering on the varsity squad, had just gotten my licence, and was decorating my boy friends car for V-day because he was going to be gone at a wrestling match! and I had a seriouse crush on a HOT missionary in our stake!

2.Things on my to do list-
lets see..it's longer than usual, pick decorations for baby shower, get prizes for baby shower game, clean my house top to bottom for baby shower, pick up sprinkles for Beenz Valentine party, go to Beenz V-day party, schedule Hawiian dancers for Enrichments Luau, mail 2 birthday cards, soccer sign ups, practice spelling words with Beenz, of course study my scripture for like an hour ;), yadda yadda, just to name a few, theres more but like you really care!!

3.Bad Habits-
Going to bed with out washing my face...yuck I know!

Being Late!!!! Although I must state for the record Beenz has only been late to school once this year, not my fault either...you just can't control bowel movments, and she sometimes takes forever!!! Plus I am getting better.

4.Places I've lived-
Lets see...Grass Pants OR....yep thats it!!

5.Things most people don't know about me-
-I'm very flexiable!
-I love running and hope to run in the Portland Marathon in October...need a running partner!!!
-I hate being in charge of Enrichment and think someone else could do much better!!
-I am way anti-spanking! (if it works for you great...but for now not for me!!)
-I would love to have like 10 kids!!!!!
-I'm a morning person!! I wake up happy! (not Chris)
-I love to watter skiing but have a panic attach almost every time when I get in the water(especially at the beginning of the season) because I hate water when I can't see the bottom! I think something will eat me! SERIOUSLY!!
-I am a HUGE Oprah fan...Huge!!!
-I am married to the man of my dreams!!! Literally....long story!

LIFE....!

So..I have been buys, so busy that somedays I wake up and think ok...I don't want to have my day, maybe some else can go work out, and start breakfast and do Beenz hair yadda yadda yadda...what a horriable way to feel! So today I was looking for something, something that Chris and I have been looking for since we flew to Disneyland in October and we have to have in March when we go to Mexico, I was looking every where, and Mason dropped a glass jar of strawberry jam, (nothing survies a drop on tile floor I've learned) Marlee crawled throw it, both kids are crying and I kind of feel like I want to cry too! Anyway, after some sticky cleaning I was back to searching...I came across this poem, it is so special to me! My Grandmother, Deedee as we called her, wrote it and gave it to me and my girl cousins Christmas 2000, I was prego with my first as was my other cousin, my sister in law was prego with her 2nd and my other cousin also prego with her 2nd! What a specail thing to all be prego together! As I read this poem and thought about my Deedee, my par-a-dime shifted!! I miss her sooo much and what an amazing mother and grandmother she was! Even now as she has passed on, she is still comforting me and teaching me!! So here is the poem..I hope it makes some one else, who might be in a funk today, realize what is really important!

So here are my girlee's...matching again! Don't they look cute!! I love these dresses!!!

~Valentines Party~

This weekend we had our cousin Valentine Party..we've been having it every year since Berklee was 2, we have 14 little cousins that all live here and it's always fun to get together!!

All the kids make a Valentines Box...they are always so fun and all so different!

All the Mom's always bring some festive yummy something! We made heart shaped Waffels this year!

We always play some games...a favorite every year is Who Stole the Cookies from the Cookie Jar! The stuffed heart shape cookie is adorable!

Then they all exchange Valentines...which is like the most fun thing is the world if you a kid!! My kids read theirs over and over but what excited them most this year.......

...would have to be that my cousin (who I swear is on crack because she does sooo much) made all the kids jammee bottoms, all the girls match and all the boys match! So stink'en adorable!!! It was a great Valentines Party and we are already looking forward to next year!

Play Date!!

Friday I took Mason and Marlee over to Medford to the Discovery Space while Berklee was at school. We met my good friend Jen and her little guy and some other real sweet girls and their kids there. Mason had a blast, there are all sorts of fun stuff to do, Marlee loved the balls and mostly wanted to put everything is her mouth! These pictures are of Marlee and Jen's little guy! It's crazy when I think back to High School dayz....Jen and I has lots of fun together....probably too much....it is so fun now to watch out kids together!!

Fun Find!!

So...I got these for my kids for Christmas and they bring them to church every week! They are great, they roll up pretty small, and unroll holding lots of crayons inside, they can color with out the crayons rolling every where! I ordered them at princesslinens.com. So cute!! So fun!!!

Student of the Month!

Our little sunshine is one of the two 1st grade "students of the month"! She was so super excited! You would have thought she won the lottery....her teacher said as they read her name over the loud speaker! Her and the other students of the month get to have a specail lunch with the Principal and they get a packet of all sorts of goodies and gift certificates! They also get their pictures up in the hall! Berklee is so adorable and loves school! We were so happy for her!

Oh my goodness...my little baby is crawling! Not just a little bit but full blow crawling...EVERYWHERE! She's a whole new baby and life just got a little tricky! Plus she wants to stand on everything, she is constantly falling and has brusies on her little head! Berklee walked at 9 months...I am so not read for that!! I swear she was a new born...yesterday!
